Theme Nights – Gangster Prohibition
Entertainment and how the evening runs
Guests arrive for pre-dinner drinks perhaps served in Cups and Saucers to keep in the Prohibition Speakeasy Theme. Our Gangster Magicians mingle, entertaining guests with close-up magic giving them a taster of their entertainment during dinner.
Dinner is called, but before guests are allowed to enter the dinning area they must give the password to the henchmen guarding the entrance.
If you wish, some guests my be given the wrong password, these guests will only be allowed to gain entrance to the dinning room after they have agreed to take part in a forfeit later in the evening.
As guests dine, our Gangster magicians entertain in between courses with close-up magic, performing minor miracles right before your eyes.
When the venue allows we stage the ‘Bank Robbery’ a magic illusion called ‘Dynamite Illusion’. A very loud exciting and entertaining illusion with audience participation.
Afterwards the proceeds of this bank robbery are distributed by our henchmen to the guests in the form of ‘Fun Money’ which they can exchange for gaming chips and try their look at the gaming tables for the next couple of hours at the illicit gangster fun casino.
Then the music is turned up to dance the rest of the night away. Or alternatively if you choose to have a band at your function this is an ideal time for their finale spot before the disco kicks in for the last hour or so of dancing.
Room theming and decoration
Guests enter the function room through an entrance set decorated with Gagster and Prohibition posters and artifacts, the set is electronically lit and topped with a canopy of helium filled balloons.
Table decorations consisting of Gangster Hat filled with shredded tissue paper with five helium filled 11” printed latex balloons spilling out of the centre, gangster glasses, lace gloves, pistols and cigarette holders. Table confetti in silver and black stars.
Large donut balloon arch to the stage or dance floor area, helium filled balloon clusters decorating the main areas of the function room.

Life side ‘Blues Brothers’ Statues, flood lit, usually placed in front of eight feet long eight feet high gangster backdrop.
